- I think you're right to point out that despite our prediliction for always blaming our leaders, those of us on the bottom are responsible in that we don't demand enough from our government. Our government lives up to our expectations.

- Some have stated that this question is about the struggle between moderates and extremists within Islam, but I take it more broadly. Distortion of the core beliefs of religion leads co-religionists to kill each other, whether they are Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist, or another faith.
